Thames and Severn Canal
4th - 5th February 2012
Due to an breakdown in communication
between the group and the SHCT we have no work arranged or accomodation
booked for the February weekend so I have arranged for us to go back to
the Thames and Severn.
Work: Martin has advised of the following: ‘The work will be much as
before at Inglesham, tirforing out, clearing up after London's blitz
through the top end, cleaning out ditches, possibly poisoning roots
(using CCT provide chemical), moving logs to Alex Farm, mini digger
roots out and exposing larger roots for tirforing. I know Jon has
brickwork at Eisey, tirforing and possibly the caravan to move to
Inglesham from Rucks Bridge’.
Accommodation: Kempsford Village Hall, High Street, Kempsford, GL7 4EY.
The hall is next to the Primary School.

Martin will be around from 17.30 ish and I hope to get there by 20.00. I
suggest we meet in The George which is also on the High Street, GL7 4EQ
so is a short walk from the hall.
