Here are a couple of pictures of the 1 ton "Lego" blocks that have been used to speed up the building of the walls - they will be faced with bricks once sealed.

Fortunately, they don't take much pointing, but they do take a machine to put in.

Concrete being mixed, loaded into the bucket of the JCB ready to be put in the dumper for the crew laying the foundations for the lego.

A new footbridge was put over the lock on Saturday to give easier access to the public.

and an old garage was knocked down

All in all, a very productive weekend.
