Eisey Lock - Thames & Severn Canal

A beautiful spot in the Cotswolds for a week's work. The main task was
continuing to rebuild a chamber wall started by NWPG the previous week.

Enthusiastic brickies need a constant flow of mortar, so everyone took
their turn in charge of the mixer.

Our office for the week.

We began by cleaning out the old brickwork, removing unstable bricks.

Several thousand bricks were laid throughout the week.

An injured Kingfisher was found by the lock on Friday, picked up
soon after by a local wildlife hospital.
